Ingredients
  • approx. 15 grinds of black pepper from the pepper grinder
  • slightly less ground sea salt than pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of tomato purée
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • (optional) splash of water to dilute if you don't want it too rich
  • approx 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil

Super Easy No-Cook Pizza Sauce With Tomato Purée

This no-cook pizza sauce with tomato purée is perfect for tortilla pizzas, pizza toast or any situation where you need an emergency pizza sauce in a hurry. It's rich and flavourful, and all the ingredients are things you probably have in your kitchen already!

Step 1

Measure out your tomato pureé, oil and seasonings into a small bowl, and mix.

Step 2

Evenly spread the pizza sauce onto your pizza base/tortilla/bread using the back of a spoon. Be careful not to add too much sauce here. You very much want to still be able to see the pizza base through the sauce.

Step 3

Add your other toppings, cook, and serve!
